We’ve now been in Vietnam for 8 days, and since Monday we’ve been travelling through the mountains of the North. The trip has been going perfectly, despite some of the roads being quite challenging at times. And of course, we have our fantastic driver, Thien!
Our guide, Leo, is truly exceptional. He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and speaks perfect Italian. He explains everything clearly and knows how to adapt to our needs...
The landscapes are magnificent, and the Vietnamese people are incredibly welcoming.
What more can I say!?
From the moment we arrived at the airport up until today, here among the Black Lolo people, we’ve had one discovery after another, with flawless organisation throughout. And for Marc and me, as we are particularly passionate about food, one of the most surprising discoveries has been learning about all the herbs and plants used in Vietnamese cuisine. There’s a new surprise every time: morning glory, lolotte (!) and so on.
As you can see, we’re absolutely delighted.

We would like to share our complete satisfaction with our guide, Long, who accompanied us during the first week of our trip to Vietnam.
He was exceptional from beginning to end: always available, attentive to our needs, smiling, passionate, and very interesting in his explanations. His sense of humor and good spirits contributed greatly to making this first part of our stay even more enjoyable.
Thanks to him, we discovered breathtaking landscapes and had some wonderful experiences. He also knew how to adapt the activities to our abilities and athletic capabilities, allowing us to make the most of every day.
He is a guide whom we recommend without the slightest hesitation. His professionalism, kindness, and passion for his country truly make all the difference.
We were genuinely sad to say goodbye to him, as we had so much enjoyed sharing this week with him.
We would also like to highlight the professionalism of our driver, Tong, who was every bit as good as our guide. Always careful, smiling, and pleasant, the two of them made a truly fantastic team that contributed greatly to the success of this first week.

It’s our first time in Vietnam, and from the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warmth that we will never forget.
This trip has been wonderful, especially on an emotional and human level. We met people with extraordinary kindness and sincerity, and that is what we will carry most dearly in our hearts from Vietnam. 😍
Throughout our journey, we met some fantastic guides: Hay in Hanoi, Lap in Bac Ha and Sapa, which became one of our favorite places, and Lan in Hoi An. Each of them helped us discover something special about Vietnam: its history, culture, heritage, and everyday life.
The drivers and hotels were also perfect. Truly impeccable service from beginning to end. 🙏

We enjoyed the south, really loved the centre, and completely fell in love with the north! It is a trip that will stay with us forever 😁
