Day 1 Hanoi – Sapa (300 km ≈ 5 hours by road)
Depart from Hanoi for Sapa, a former French hill station renowned for its picturesque landscapes and cultural diversity.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Ta Van Village in the scenic Muong Hoa Valley, inhabited by ethnic groups such as the Dzay and Black Hmong. Participate in a demonstration of batik-making, a traditional dyeing art practiced by the Hmong people, and observe their intricate craftsmanship.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 2 Sapa – Bac Ha (100 km ≈ 3 hours by road)
After breakfast, embark on a trek through either Hau Thao or Ta Van Villages, enjoy yourself in the serene landscapes of terraced rice fields and interact with local villagers to learn about their customs and daily life.
Conclude your morning activities with a relaxing La Dao herbal bath, a rejuvenating experience rooted in the traditions of the Red Dzao ethnic group. In the afternoon, transfer to Bac Ha, a tranquil town northeast of Sapa.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy leisure time. Overnight in Bac Ha.
Day 3 Bac Ha - Buffalo Market
In the morning, visit the Bac Ha Buffalo Market, a vibrant gathering where local ethnic groups convene to trade livestock and agricultural goods.
Explore the renowned Sunday Market, a lively event offering insight into the diverse cultural practices of the region’s ethnic minorities.
In the afternoon, take a light trek to nearby villages, such as Thai Rang Pho or Na Lo, where you can experience the unique traditions of the Tay and Hmong communities.
Return to your hotel in the evening. Overnight in Bac Ha.
Day 4 Bac Ha – Ha Giang (190 km ≈ 4.5 hours by road)
After breakfast, depart for Ha Giang, an unspoiled region celebrated for its dramatic landscapes and cultural heritage.
The journey offers breathtaking views of limestone karsts, lush valleys, and winding mountain roads. Arrive in Ha Giang in the late afternoon and settle into your hotel.
Overnight in Ha Giang.
Day 5 Ha Giang – Dong Van (150 km ≈ 4 hours by road)
Begin the day with a drive to Dong Van, passing through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark that showcases awe-inspiring geological formations.
Along the way, stop at picturesque viewpoints and ethnic minority villages, where you can gain insight into local traditions.
In the evening, explore the bustling Dong Van Night Market, a cultural hub where villagers gather to trade and socialize.
Check into your hotel. Overnight in Dong Van.
DAY 6 Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ha Giang (140 km ≈ 4.5 hours by road)
After breakfast, visit the Meo Vac Market, a dynamic marketplace frequented by various ethnic groups in traditional attire.
Continue the journey along the Ma Pi Leng Pass, widely regarded as one of the most breathtaking mountain roads in Vietnam, offering spectacular views of the Nho Que River and surrounding landscapes.
In the late afternoon, return to Ha Giang and check into your hotel.
Overnight in Ha Giang.
Day 7 Ha Giang – Hanoi (300 km ≈ 6 hours by road)
After breakfast, depart for Hanoi.
Arrive in the afternoon and transfer to your hotel.

I finally find the time to write to you and share the impressions that our journey to Vietnam left on us.
Beyond the wonderful memories of the 23 days we spent in Vietnam, there is a particular aspect of this trip that I wish to share with you.
My wife and I have traveled fairly extensively. Not as much as we would have liked, but over the years, we have had the opportunity to visit several countries and have learned to organize our trips quite competently and independently. We have returned home and resumed work, though with a bit of nostalgia after discovering your beautiful country.
We had an excellent trip; everything was just as planned. Our guide Thien made the stay very enjoyable by scheduling visits during less crowded times. Always kind, cheerful, and speaking excellent English, he shared his knowledge and the great cultural richness of his country. He always gave us great advice. In Cambodia, Mr. Tra (short for his name) also adapted the visit itinerary to less crowded times. He added a temple visit and the visit to the Angkor Scent Workshop. We ended up visiting the floating village of Kampong Phuck, which was closer than the one originally planned, and there weren't too many people yet. This allowed us to visit a local market as well.

We booked this tour at the last minute, and Kampá Tour didn’t disappoint with their prompt organization. Our guide, Thao, was fantastic—full of energy, humor, and knowledge. We spent a lot of time on boats, drifting along the rivers and canals. We loved cycling through the quiet palm groves and cruising through the narrow waterways by sampan in Mekong Delta.
A special thank you to the entire team at Kampá Tour. We spent 15 days in a wonderful country, with remarkable people, extraordinary landscapes, and a fascinating culture...
