    • King Ly Thai To Square , discovery of the thousand-year-old history of the Vietnamese capital.

Ly Thai To is the founder of the Ly Dynasty (1009-1225). It was under his reign that Hanoi became the new capital in 1010, after being transferred from Hoa Lu.

    • Lake of the Restored Sword: Stroll by the heart of Hanoi, featuring Turtle Islet and Ngoc Son Temple.
    • Old Quarter Walking Tour: Explore the 36 streets and visit a traditional "Tube" house on Ma May Street.

A historic district located in the heart of Hanoi that is full of old houses, temples, bustling markets, craft shops and traditional restaurants. It is an iconic place that bears witness to the history and culture of the Vietnamese capital.

    • Colonial Heritage by Cyclo: A rickshaw ride past landmarks such as the Grand Théâtre and the Hôtel Métropole.

Relax with a massage session before your overnight stay at the Sofitel Métropole Hotel.

Sofitel Métropole is an iconic property that seamlessly blends French colonial charm with contemporary Vietnamese elements, providing an unparalleled luxury experience.

Welcome to the start of your 14-day Luxury Vietnam Tour, where you’ll experience the finest of Vietnam's culture, history, and landscapes in comfort and style.

Discovery of the most remarkable cultural sites and historical monuments of Hanoi:

Built 1,000 years ago, this Confucian temple was an institution where royal sons and mandarins studied. It was also the site of competitions for the country's most talented students, the winners of which became scholars and high officials of Vietnam's feudal dynasties.

    • Ba Dinh Square where the former palace of the governor of Indochina, the mausoleum and the house of Ho Chi Minh are located.
    • The Ethnography Museum, an extensive collection of 25,000 ancient and contemporary artifacts, reflecting the history and cultures of Vietnam's diverse ethnic communities.
    • In the evening, there will be a show at the water puppet theatre – a traditional art form unique to Vietnamese culture.

The colorful wooden puppets are manipulated by hand by the artists using sticks and bamboo sections underwater. This is a special and fascinating art unique to the Northern Vietnamese.

    Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, meet your English-speaking guide to begin your journey to Sapa, a gem nestled in the northern mountains of Vietnam. Known for its breathtaking landscapes, rice terraces, and cultural diversity, Sapa offers a truly authentic experience.

In the afternoon, embark on an immersive journey through the Muong Hoa Valley:

    • Lao Chai Village: Visit this village inhabited by the Black Hmong community. Stroll along small paths through the picturesque rice fields.

    • Ta Van Village: Discover the village of the Dzay people. Women here are often seen in black pants paired with shirts in vibrant shades of blue, green, or pink.

This experience will allow you to interact with locals working in the rice fields, learning about their daily lives and traditional customs.

Check-in at the Topas Ecolodge, an eco-friendly retreat with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Overnight at the ecolodge.

Begin your day with breakfast and depart for an exciting trek into the heart of Hoang Lien National Park, starting near Sin Chai Village. Enjoy the majestic landscapes of mountains, waterfalls, and valleys. Your trek will take you to:

    • Nậm Nhìu Village: A traditional village of the Red Dao ethnic group. Engage with the locals, hear their stories, and learn about their culture.

Continue your journey through lush valleys and rice fields before reaching Nậm Cang Village, one of the most remote villages in Sapa. Here, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, followed by an exploration of the village, home to the Red Dao people known for their colorful attire, herbal remedies, and intricate silverwork.

Return to the ecolodge for relaxation and free time. Overnight at the ecolodge.

Enjoy a free morning at the hotel, where you can relax or indulge in a soothing massage session. Alternatively, take a leisurely bike ride around the hotel’s scenic surroundings.

For hiking enthusiasts, there’s the opportunity to explore Hang Da and Sa Seng, two breathtaking high-altitude areas located east of Sapa. These untouched regions boast green valleys and diverse crops, including rice, indigo, hemp, and vegetables, maintaining their authentic charm.

As you hike through the karst limestone formations of Hang Da, you’ll pass small hamlets where local agricultural activities unfold. Along the way, you may encounter Hmong women tending to their indigo gardens and practicing the art of indigo dyeing. You’ll also have the chance to learn about the traditional cultivation and weaving of hemp, a craft that remains alive among the Hmong, one of the few ethnic minorities in Asia still using local plants to dye textiles.

Continue your journey to Sa Seng, a long valley framed by mountain ranges. The path takes you through lush forests, rivers, and fields, with photo opportunities capturing vibrant rice terraces, tomato and cabbage crops, and traditional homes nestled in the landscape.

In the afternoon, return to Hanoi, where you'll spend the night.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your seaplane flight to Halong Bay. The flight offers spectacular views of the Red River Delta and the port city of Hai Phong. A highlight of the journey is the 15-minute scenic flight over Halong Bay, giving you an unforgettable aerial perspective of the bay's emerald waters and limestone formations.

Upon landing, board a luxury junk for a scenic cruise through Halong Bay:

    • Admire the countless islands and islets with distinctive shapes, such as Sail Island, Dog Island, and Incense Burner Island.

    • Relax on the junk's upper deck, take a swim in the crystal-clear waters, or enjoy a kayaking excursion to hidden beaches.

Meals on board will feature traditional Vietnamese cuisine, including seafood specialties. Overnight aboard the junk.

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over Halong Bay. After breakfast, visit the Thien Canh Son Cave, known for its stunning stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years.

Following lunch on the junk, disembark and journey to Ninh Binh, often called "Halong Bay on land" for its striking limestone landscapes. The evening is free for relaxation or independent exploration of the area. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Begin your day with a serene boat trip along the Ngo Dong River to explore the stunning landscape of Tam Coc. As the river meanders between lush rice fields and limestone "sugar loaves," you'll pass through three natural caves carved at the base of towering peaks, offering a breathtaking view of this tranquil countryside.

Afterward, take a leisurely bike ride through picturesque villages and verdant fields. This ride provides a unique perspective of the region, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the peaceful rural environment.

Next, transfer to Hoa Lu, the ancient imperial capital of Vietnam (960-1009). Here, you'll visit the temples of the Dinh and Le kings, located at the base of a valley surrounded by rice fields and limestone formations. Delve into Vietnam's rich history, particularly the legendary conflict between the Vietnamese and Chinese troops, with the Dinh and Le kings emerging as the nation's first unifiers and victors.

In the afternoon, return to Hanoi and transfer directly to the airport for your evening flight to Hue, the former imperial city of Vietnam.

Overnight at Ancient Hue Garden House, a chic and poetic accommodation offering charm and serenity.

Begin your day with a city tour of Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam (1802-1945), rich in historical and cultural significance:

    • The Imperial City: Explore the former residence and workplace of the 13 Nguyen kings, who ruled for 143 years, preserving the grandeur of Vietnam’s imperial history.

    • Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang: Visit the final resting place of Minh Mang, an emperor famed for fathering 142 children with 43 concubines.

    • Phu Mong Village: Discover the traditional garden houses of Phu Mong, a key element of Hue’s imperial identity, reflecting a harmonious blend of nature and architecture.

    • Thien Mu Pagoda: Marvel at Hue’s most beautiful and visited pagoda, or visit the tranquil Tu Hieu Pagoda, where the tombs of Nguyen dynasty eunuchs are located. If time allows, you may witness a prayer session by the resident monks.

    • Dong Ba Market: Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Hue's oldest and largest market, where you can shop for local specialties like conical hats and Ao Dai tunic dresses.

In the evening, indulge yourself in royal Vietnamese culture with a costumed royal dinner. Enjoy traditional dishes prepared according to imperial recipes, while donning authentic costumes and enjoying performances of music and traditional dances, recreating the splendor of Vietnam’s royal past.

Overnight at Ancient Hue Garden House, a chic and poetic accommodation that exudes charm and serenity.

Depart by road to Hoi An, a charming ancient town located 150 km south of Hue. Along the way, you’ll make several scenic stops:

    • Thuan An and Lang Co Beaches: Enjoy views of these long, pristine beaches that remain relatively untouched by tourism. Along the coast, you’ll also observe large lagoons where local fish farms are operated by the community.

    • Hai Van Pass (Col des Nuages): This dramatic mountain pass is the highest in central Vietnam and serves as a natural climatic boundary between the north and south. From the summit, take in breathtaking panoramic views of Lang Co Bay and Da Nang Bay, stretching endlessly toward the horizon.

    • "Ghost Town" Graveyards: Along the roadside, you’ll pass clusters of tomb-castles, intricately carved in various Asian architectural styles. Known as “Ghost Towns,” these graveyards resemble miniature cities and are strikingly visible from afar.

Continue your journey and arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon. Check in at your hotel for an overnight stay.

Start your morning with a peaceful bike ride through the serene countryside of Hoi An. After breakfast, set off for the Van Lang Fishing Village and the Bay Mau Coconut Forest, an area surrounded by winding canals and dense water coconut forests that have retained their authentic charm. As you cycle, you’ll pass through rice fields, corn fields, vegetable gardens, and welcoming hamlets, offering ample opportunities for photo stops and encounters with local craftsmen at boat-building workshops and other artisanal factories.

Upon arrival in Van Lang Village, enjoy a unique experience with a round basket boat ride through the coconut-lined rivers. Take in the beautiful landscapes, relax, and even learn the traditional techniques of shrimp fishing from local fishermen.

Disembark and settle in with a local family for a delicious lunch featuring traditional home-cooked dishes, offering a glimpse into the warmth and hospitality of the region.

In the afternoon, return to Hoi An for a walking tour of its Old Quarter, widely regarded as "the most charming city in Vietnam." Explore must-see sites such as:

    • Fujian Shrine, dedicated to the patron goddess of fishermen and sailors.
    • Phuc Thanh Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hoi An, built in 1454.
    • The iconic Japanese Bridge, constructed in 1593, which connects the former Chinese and Japanese quarters.
    • Stroll through the ancient alleys, museums, and centuries-old wooden houses that have stood the test of time.

End your day by visiting silk and lantern shops, where you’ll have the opportunity to commission custom-made clothes from local artisans.

    Overnight at your hotel.

Spend two days relaxing on the serene beaches of Cua Dai and An Bang, soaking up the sun in these tranquil, uncrowded coastal havens. You can also opt for leisurely bike rides to nearby villages that specialize in traditional crafts such as vegetable farming, pottery, and carpentry. Overnight at the hotel by the beach.

Enjoy free time in Hoi An before your transfer to Da Nang for your flight to Hanoi, followed by your international departure. This marks the end of our 14-day luxury Vietnam travel services.
