DAY 1 SIEM REAP - ARRIVAL
Arrival in Siem Reap, where you will be welcomed by the local English-speaking guide and transferred to the hotel (rooms available from 2:00 p.m.).
Enjoy some free time to rest or discover the city on your own.
Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 2 SIEM REAP - ANGKOR WAT AND ANGKOR THOM TEMPLES - 20 KM
A day dedicated to exploring the mystical temples of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire (9th-15th centuries):
- Angkor Wat temples - dedicated to Vishnu, the supreme god of Hinduism, considered the masterpiece of Khmer art and architecture.
- Angkor Thom temples - a walled city covering 10 km² that once housed a million people. Visit the massive statues of the South Gate, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the famous Bayon Temple, featuring 54 gigantic towers with 216 faces of Avalokitesvara, the most important goddess of Buddhism.
- Return to Siem Reap in the late afternoon.
- In the evening, dinner with Apsara music and dance performance at a charming local restaurant.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
DAY 3 SIEM REAP - SMALL AND GRAND CIRCUIT TEMPLES
After breakfast, visit the majestic temples of the Small and Grand Circuits:
- Banteay Srei Temple (Citadel of Women) - one of the most beautiful temples of pink sandstone, with finely carved Apsaras and deities.
- The sacred temples of Takeo, Bantey Kdei, and the impressive Ta Prohm Temple - an abandoned Buddhist monastery covered in trees with its gigantic snake-like roots.
- At the end of the day, watch the sunset from the mountain temple of Pre Rup.
Return to Siem Reap and overnight stay in a hotel.
DAY 4 SIEM REAP - TONLE SAP - KAMPONG THOM (195 KM ~ 3.5 - 4 HOURS BY CAR)
Next, visit the Roluos group of temples.
Explore the temples of the first capital of Angkor: Preah Ko, the first Khmer temple built in 880 in the Angkor region, at the site of the capital of Indravarman I; Bakong, the state temple of Indravarman I, consecrated in 881; Lo Lei, a mostly brick construction erected in 893.
In the morning, excursion to Tonle Sap Lake, the largest in Southeast Asia.
Stop at the floating village of Kompong Khleang - authentic and less touristy, visit the village with houses on stilts or floating rafts, the market, the pagoda, and a primary school with smiling children.
Transfer to Kampong Thom.
Check-in at a hotel in the heart of a Khmer village.
Overnight in Kampong Thom.
DAY 5 KAMPONG THOM - PHNOM PENH (190 KM ~ 3.5 - 4 HOURS BY CAR)
Travel to Phnom Penh by private car without a guide, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia, passing through Kompong Cham (literally "Port of the Cham").
Arrive in Phnom Penh in the late morning.
Check-in at the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will be on a boat excursion followed by a bike ride on Koh Dach Island.
Return to the hotel at the end of the day.
Possibility to admire the sunset on the Mekong River.
Overnight at the hotel.
DAY 6 PHNOM PENH - CITY TOUR
Day dedicated to discovering the city of Phnom Penh - the Cambodian capital:
Wat Phnom - a Buddhist temple that gave rise to the city of Phnom Penh in the 14th century. The Royal Palace - residence and workplace of the Norodom kings since 1870; the Silver Pagoda - one of the most original pagodas in the country with the entire floor paved with silver tiles, a gift from the French king Napoleon III. The Apsara Association - the art school where poor children are trained.
Night in Phnom Penh.
DAY 7 PHNOM PENH - DEPARTURE
Enjoy a free day for last-minute shopping.
Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Beyond the wonderful memories of the 23 days we spent in Vietnam, there is a particular aspect of this trip that I wish to share with you.

We booked this tour at the last minute, and Kampá Tour didn’t disappoint with their prompt organization. Our guide, Thao, was fantastic—full of energy, humor, and knowledge. We spent a lot of time on boats, drifting along the rivers and canals. We loved cycling through the quiet palm groves and cruising through the narrow waterways by sampan in Mekong Delta.
