ABOUT ME

After 5 years of studying in France, I am back in my home country, and I am fortunate to join our agency's team. With the experiences gained during my studies and my knowledge in the field of tourism, I am here to assist you in organizing an unforgettable trip to Vietnam. Trust in my passion for tourism in Vietnam, and prepare for an exceptional and memorable travel experience.

What are the must-see places in Vietnam that you recommend to tourists?

  • In the North: Hanoi, the ancient capital, is a must-visit to explore Vietnamese history and culture. The mountains of Sapa and Bac Ha offer picturesque landscapes and enriching encounters with ethnic minorities. The terrestrial Halong Bay in Ninh Binh, also known as the "inland Halong Bay," is a true natural gem to explore. And, of course, the famous Halong Bay with its 1,900 islands and islets is a spectacle not to be missed.
  • In the Central region: The ancient port town of Hoi An is a true architectural gem with its charming alleys and traditional houses. The beautiful beaches of Hoi An also offer a welcome relaxation. In Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam's last feudal kingdom, you can discover the country's rich history through its palaces, temples, and royal tombs.
  • In the South: The bustling capital of Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) is a vibrant city that combines history, modernity, and gastronomy. The Mekong Delta, with its lively markets and floating homes, provides an immersion into local life and the opportunity to discover the natural wonders of the region.

What are your top recommendations for trying Vietnamese cuisine?

In addition to bò bún, phở, or bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich), which are well-known and loved by foreigners, I highly recommend trying Bún bò Huế, a noodle soup consisting of spicy and flavorful broth, rice vermicelli, beef, Vietnamese pork pâté, and various spices. This soup is special with its robust, spicy, and highly aromatic flavors. Another specialty not to be missed is Bún chả Hà Nội. Having worked in a Vietnamese restaurant in France, I know that it's a dish beloved by the English and Westerners. It consists of rice vermicelli, grilled pork prepared in two different ways (as minced meatballs and thin slices), and garnished with vegetables such as lettuce, coriander, mint, and bean sprouts. It's served with a "nước mắm" sauce with a sweet and sour flavor, the decisive element, or in other words, the soul of this dish. You'll be charmed from the very first bite.

Are there any local festivals or events in Vietnam that you think tourists should experience?

For me, the Tet Festival or Vietnamese New Year is the most special event that tourists should experience. Just like Christmas for Westerners, it's the time when everyone returns home after a long year of work or studies to reunite with family members. If you're curious about cultures, it's a unique opportunity to discover various interesting customs in Vietnam, such as the Kitchen God worship, ancestor worship, and the giving of lucky money (Lì Xì), among others. Plus, you can also attend the many festivals held after Tet.
