How many places have you visited in Vietnam? If you could only recommend one, which would it be?

I’ve been lucky enough to visit so many incredible places in Vietnam, from the lively cities to the calm countryside. I’ve seen about half of the 63 provinces and cities here, but it’s tough to count them all.

Choosing just one spot is tough, too, because each place has something unique. If I had to pick, though, it would be Pu Luong. It’s a breathtaking nature reserve with terraced rice fields, towering mountains, and charming traditional villages. It’s ideal for anyone looking for a peaceful, authentic experience, far from the usual crowds.

What cultural activity would you recommend to someone who wants an authentic Vietnamese experience?

I’d say staying with local families in their homes is a great way to dive into Vietnamese life and traditions. Plus, learning to cook traditional dishes with them is a fantastic way to connect with the culture through food. Also, I’d recommend visiting less touristy places and exploring traditional villages. That’s where you’ll truly get to see the real beauty and serenity of Vietnam, away from the hustle and bustle.

Other activities I always recommend are checking out local markets, joining in on traditional festivals, and exploring temples and pagodas...
