The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) is an annual cultural and tourism event, first held in 2008. Over the years, the festival has become a symbol of Da Nang’s summer tourism, attracting millions of visitors each season.
Since 2017, DIFF has expanded in scale and boosted its reputation, welcoming top international teams for spectacular fireworks competitions.

The DIFF 2026 carries the message of a new Da Nang after the merger of Da Nang city and Quang Nam province. The theme’s name reflects a close connection between nature, cultural, architectural, and tourism symbols, alongside the modern spirit of a destination that maintains its national identity, embraces fusion, and strives for development in the new era.

This year’s Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will be held on the eastern bank of the Han River, with the main grandstands located on the western bank. With a spacious setup and the scenic Han River as a backdrop, this location is ideal for watching the most stunning fireworks.

The 2026 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) will feature a spectacular lineup of teams from around the world. Teams representing Vietnam, Japan, Germany, China, Macau, France, Portugal, Italy, and Australia will compete, each showcasing their unique firework displays. Expect a thrilling competition with breathtaking performances by top pyrotechnic teams like Da Nang Fireworks Team, Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks Co. Ltd from Japan, Josef Steffes - Ollig Feuer Werk GmbH from Germany, and others.
The festival will include 6 official competition nights, each with a specific theme:
Thiên Nhiên (Nature) – 30/05/2026: Opening program - Qualifying Round, Vietnam (Da Nang) vs China
Di Sản (Heritage) – 06/06/2026: Qualifying Round, France vs Vietnam (Z21 Vina Pyrotech)
Văn Hóa (Culture) – 13/06/2026: Qualifying Round, Japan vs Italy
Sáng Tạo (Creativity) – 20/06/2026: Qualifying Round, Germany vs Macao
Tầm Nhìn (Vision) – 27/06/2026: Qualifying Round, Australia vs Bora Bora
Đà Nẵng - Những Chân Trời Kết Nối (Da Nang – Connecting Horizons) – 11/07/2026: Final Round, Grand Closing Ceremony
With the growing scale of the festival, spectators can enjoy the fireworks from many locations around the city. However, for those seeking a more immersive and spectacular experience, DIFF 2026 offers several grandstand zones with suitable pricing.
In addition, the organizers offer combo tickets which include fireworks viewing and an experience at Sun World Ba Na Hills, with prices ranging from 2.3 to 3.3 million VND depending on the seating area.
