In March 2025, Vietnam saw a record 2.05 million international visitors, a 28.5% increase from last year. By the end of Q1, over 6 million visitors arrived, the highest ever. This growth is due to favorable visa policies, strong promotions, and international recognition. By the end of Q1 2025, more than 6 million people had visited, making it the highest number ever for any quarter, with a 29.6% rise. Most visitors came by air (5.2 million, up 34%), followed by land (685,500, up 9.6%) and sea (133,000, down 2.7%).

This amazing growth is thanks to easy visa policies, strong tourism promotions, and well-known international awards that have put Vietnam on the map. Tourism revenue for Q1 2025 reached 21.5 trillion VND, a big 18.3% increase, with cities like Hanoi, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Binh Duong, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hai Phong leading the way.
