"VIJIT CHAO PHRAYA 2024," now in its third consecutive year, is part of Thailand's Winter Festivals 2024 under the theme "The 7 Wonders of Thailand." The festival features seven categories: Loy Krathong Festival, Lighting and Illumination Festival, Music Festival, Sports, Food, Culture, and a Countdown Festival. It runs from November 2024 to January 2025.

The event aims to showcase Thailand's rich history and cultural heritage through spectacular multimedia light shows and other engaging activities.

Through a 360-degree collaboration between public and private sector partners, the government aims to creatively enhance and build on Thailand's cultural capital by combining various forms of art and multimedia. This approach helps to emphasize the historical and cultural significance of the Chao Phraya River, presenting its stories in exciting new ways and perspectives," said the Minister.

This initiative is part of Thailand's broader effort to showcase its rich cultural heritage through innovative events like Vijit Chao Phraya 2024, which blends traditional art with modern multimedia to captivate audiences.

Highlighted Locations to Admire Vijit Chao Phraya 2024

Visitors can enjoy spectacular performances at 8 main locations along the Chao Phraya River, including:

1. Rama VIII Bridge: Themed "Brilliant Poetry" with laser shows, light and sound displays

The shows are scheduled daily at 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, 8:30 PM, 9:00 PM, and 9:30 PM (lasting 5 minutes each)

*Traditional dance: Khon, Lakhon, and Fawn Thai are skillfully performed at Santichaiprakan Park*

2. Wat Arun: "Dawn to Night" Theme with Drone Light Shows

Special show dates: November 16, 17 and December 15 (one 5-minute show at 7:50 PM)
Additional dates: November 24 and December 1, 8 (two shows at 7:50 PM and 9:15 PM)
