Vietnam grants visa exemption for travelers from Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland
Citizens of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland are granted visa exemptions when traveling to Vietnam for tourism purposes, allowing them to explore the country without the need for prior visa arrangements.
Vietnam's Visa 2025 Update
The visa exemption policy for citizens of the three specified countries is a significant component of the 2025 Tourism Promotion Program, launched by the Government through Resolution 11/NQ-CP on January 15, 2025. This initiative, detailed on the Government’s official online portal, aims to attract more international visitors and stimulate the growth of Vietnam's tourism industry by simplifying travel procedures for select nationalities.
As part of this policy, citizens of the Republic of Poland, the Czech Republic, and the Swiss Confederation are permitted to enter Vietnam without requiring a visa. This visa-free travel period is valid from March 1 to December 31, offering these travelers greater flexibility and convenience to explore Vietnam's diverse landscapes, rich culture, and vibrant cities. The policy reflects Vietnam’s commitment to fostering international tourism and strengthening its global connections.
Visitors are granted a temporary stay of up to 45 days specifically for tourism purposes under programs organized by Vietnamese international travel service businesses. This generous allowance applies to travelers of all nationalities and passport types, making it accessible to a wide range of tourists. The only requirement is that visitors must meet the necessary entry conditions as outlined by Vietnamese law, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
