Trang An Festival 2025 to Celebrate Heritage and Unity
On April 13, 2025, the Trang An Festival will officially open, bringing visitors into a vibrant and deeply spiritual cultural space. This annual event is a celebration of Vietnamese heritage, uniting artistic expressions and traditions from across the country in a uniquely immersive experience.

Held every year at the Trang An Ecotourism Complex, the Trang An Festival—also known as the Festival of Saint Quy Minh Dai Vuong—honors a revered historical figure who defended the nation from invaders. The celebration reflects the Vietnamese spirit of gratitude and remembrance for national heroes and ancestral values.
Ninh Binh is a proud symbol of Vietnam’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. With the theme “Trang An – A Thousand-Year Heritage, Spirit of the Mountains and Rivers”, the 2025 festival will take place from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM on April 13, at the Trang An Ecotourism Area, Ninh Binh, featuring a variety of meaningful activities.

A highlight not to be missed is the sacred Water Procession Ceremony, blended with vibrant artistic showcases along the Sao Khe River. Here, travellers can witness cultural harmony as rituals and performances unfold on water, creating a captivating visual experience.

Visitors should not miss the dynamic drum performance at Tam Quan Gate, starting at 8:30 AM, followed by a majestic dragon procession leading to the Trang An boat pier. This opening act sets the tone for the festivities with rhythmic energy and symbolic grandeur.


Another key moment is the incense offering at Suoi Tien Temple, where visitors can join in paying respect to Saint Quy Minh Dai Vuong. This ritual is a serene and spiritual gesture deeply rooted in Vietnamese tradition.

One of the most anticipated features is the series of nearly 20 real-scene stages set across the site. With over 600 performers and artists, the festival gathers more than 50 unique art forms from across Vietnam.

From Quan ho folk songs of Bac Ninh, royal court music from Hue, Tay Nguyen’s lithophone melodies, gong and drum dances of Kim Son, to Xuan Pha theatrical performances, Cheo, Xam, and various ethnic dances, every performance tells a story of identity and unity.
