The climate in Thailand in March

During the month of March, average temperatures in Thailand vary between 28°C and 33°C. It's the start of the hot season, but the heat remains pleasant. The atmosphere is dry, which makes the heat easily bearable. There is little precipitation. In some parts of the country, short showers may occur, but they are generally light. The sky remains mostly clear.

It's a perfect time to soak up the sun and lounge on the country's stunning beaches. The sea is warm and inviting for swimming.

However, there is a drawback in the north of the country: the haze caused by agricultural fires. Every year in March, farmers burn stubble in fields, causing heavy fog and poor air quality. This can alter landscapes and irritate the eyes. We therefore recommend avoiding the north during this period.
