Thailand Introduces Digital Arrival Card

The implementation of the TM.6 digital card

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has launched the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC), also known as the "TM.6 online" system, to make entering Thailand easier and faster for tourists and travelers.

The TDAC system replaces the old TM.6 paper form, helping to speed up immigration processing and make the arrival process smoother. Tourists can now submit their personal information ahead of time through an online platform, cutting down on wait times when they arrive in Thailand.

This system works together with important government departments like the Department of Consular Affairs, the Department of Disease Control, and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to ensure quick and accurate data checks. The TDAC is also linked to:

• The E-Visa system (Department of Consular Affairs)
• The disease screening system (Department of Disease Control)
• The tourist fee collection system (Ministry of Tourism and Sports)

To help travelers understand how to use the system, the Immigration Bureau has created guides in five languages: English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese. The TDAC will be fully active starting May 1.

The TDAC system offers several advantages for international tourists. It allows you to submit your details in advance, saving time at the airport and speeding up the immigration process with less waiting. Additionally, your personal information will be securely handled and verified, ensuring more security.
