If you are in Hue or Da Nang right now, you can catch trains with numbers SE21, SE19, SE3, SE9, SE3, SE19, SE17, SE1, NH1, SE7, SE5, and SE11. Ticket prices range from $4 to $7.

If you start your trip from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, then the cost of traveling by train is not too expensive, ranging from about 350,000 VND - 800,000 VND ($14-$33) for the Hanoi - Hue trip or about 400,000 VND - 1,200,000 VND ($16-$47) for the Ho Chi Minh City - Hue trip (depending on the type of seats). The train runs quite smoothly and gently, so it is extremely suitable for those who often suffer from motion sickness.
