2. What to visit in the North?

  • Hanoi

Your trip to northern Vietnam would not be complete without a visit to the ancient capital, Hanoi . You can take pedicab rides through the old neighborhoods to immerse yourself in the varied culture of the capital, all the more charming under the morning fog or the street lights in the evening. Explore the small alleys and taste Hanoi street food along the way...

Among the must-see sites not to be missed: Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Returned Sword), the Old Quarter of Hanoi, the train street in Hanoi, the Temple of Literature, the imperial citadel of Thang Long, the Museum of Ethnography.
