Hi, I will land in Phnom Penh on the 5th and leave from Ho Chi Minh City on the 30th (24 full days inbetween). I want to know if it's realistic that I could spend a few days in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat before going to Luang Prabang for a few days, checking out Kuang Xi Falls, then going to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay before working my way south (ideally over 2 weeks), seeing some caves and stopping in Da Nang on my way to Ho Chi Minh City to fly home. Is this trying to fit too much into a three week trip as I know I would lose a lot of time just for travelling?

Your plan sounds amazing, but it might be a bit rushed. You’ve got a lot of great destinations in mind, but with 24 days and the travel time between places, it could feel hectic.
If you’re okay with a faster pace, it’s doable, but you might not get to fully enjoy each spot. Consider cutting out one destination, like Luang Prabang, to give yourself more breathing room and make the trip more enjoyable!
Take a look at our Vietnam-Cambodia-Laos Tours for your itinerary, and you can also tailor-make your private trip too!

Hi there, my husband and I are going to Vietnam in late November of this year. We love history, food, culture, and nature. Questions: We want to spend 10 days in Vietnam and don't want to spend lots of days in transit where we feel like we can't breathe. Should we swap the middle for Ha Giang Loop? (seems easier said than done). Should we swap the middle for Hoi An/Hue? We read about Mai Chau, is that a good thing to add. Thanks
